NOTICE

All City of Heron Lake Property Owners
All trees hanging over the streets and alleys must be trimmed to at least 14 feet in height. All trees hanging over the sidewalks must be trimmed to at least 8 feet in height.
Any trees and/or shrubs causing a visibility/safety issue at any intersection must also be trimmed.
Trimming must be completed by September 30, 2025, or the City will have the trimming completed at the property owner’s expense.
The City of Heron Lake enforces Ordinances 226 and 237, which regulate the maintenance of trees and other woody vegetation within the City. Ordinances are available for review at the City Office.
AGAIN, TRIMMING MUST BE COMPLETED BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2025.
