Adjustment Effective 2026
The City of Heron Lake would like to inform residents that the Red Rock Rural Water Company implemented an increase in water rates beginning in 2026. As a result of this adjustment and in order to remain compliant with the supplier's updated rate structure, the City has also adjusted its water rates.
Effective in 2026, the City's water rate incresed $.25. The new rate is now $4.45 per 1000 gallons used.
This increase reflects the higher cost charged by Red Rock Rural Water Company and helps ensure the continued delivery of safe and reliable water service to our community.
